The idea
Work in one short stretch, then take a real break. Repeat. After several rounds, take a longer break.
It works because a small, definite block is much easier to start than an open-ended task, and the breaks stop the afternoon collapse.
How to use it
- Add what you are working on to the task list.
- Start the timer and work on that one thing.
- When it rings, stop and actually take the break. Stand up.
- After a few rounds you get a longer break.
Making it stick
- One task per stretch. Switching between things is what the method is protecting you from.
- If you are interrupted, finish the stretch anyway. A slightly broken block still beats an abandoned one.
- Take the breaks away from the screen. A break spent scrolling is not a break.
- The report is for spotting patterns over weeks, not for judging a single day.

Common questions
Can I change the lengths?
Yes, in settings. The usual starting point is twenty-five minutes of work and a five-minute break, but shorter blocks suit some people better.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once loaded it runs without a connection.
Will I lose my history?
It is kept in this browser on this device. Clearing your browser data will erase it, and it does not follow you to another device.
